Pdf of Call for Manuscripts

The EIC of The Community College Journal of Research and Practice (CCJRP) has agreed to publish a special issue of select papers of presentations at the 2012 Council for the Study of Community Colleges (CSCC) conference in Orlando, Florida. Papers submitted for publication will be peer reviewed in 2012 and, if accepted, published in 2013.

All submissions must comply with the requirements set by the publisher, Taylor & Francis Group, the Editorial Board, and the CCJRP Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Deborah L. Floyd. Please refer to the following link for details regarding guidelines for manuscripts:

http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/journal.asp?issn=1066-8926&linktype=44

Each manuscript must be accompanied by a statement that it has not been published elsewhere and that it has not been submitted simultaneously for publication elsewhere. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources and are required to sign an agreement for the transfer of copyright to the publisher. All accepted manuscripts, artwork, and photographs become the property of the publisher. The copyright release form is available on the web site listed above and must be signed prior to publication.

Scholarly and research full-length manuscripts should be concise yet sufficiently detailed to permit critical review. Please limit manuscripts to 13 double-spaced pages of text (an additional 5 pages may be authorized for references, tables, and figures if necessary).

Shorter manuscripts (not to exceed five pages total double spaced) are encouraged for a new section called Exchange featuring thoughtful scholarly papers and research. A recommended format for Exchange papers is available on the CCJRP web site: http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/pdf/UCJCexchange.pdf

Please submit manuscripts in word format and direct questions to CSCC@fau.edu.

The Special Issue Guest Editor, Dr. Pat Maslin-Ostrowski, may be contacted at PMaslin@Fau.Edu.
Deadline: August 15, 2012
Early submissions are encouraged.

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce two new features on our website. The first is a calendar function that allows for CSCC members and non-members to post upcoming events related to community colleges. We strongly encourage you to visit the calendar page, fill-out the form, and have your events advertised.

The second tool is a searchable research database. We invite you to visit the database, search the current content, and help add to the content by uploading papers, articles, or reports.
